Sydney, Australia – ACY Securities, a global CFD broker, today announced the implementation of mandatory Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) across its Client Portal. The update requires verification via authenticator applications, introducing an extra layer of account defense to shield client data and funds from unauthorized access.
New Security Verification Framework
The updated configuration introduces several changes to portal access and session management to fortify client accounts:
- Mandatory 2FA Login: Clients are required to link their portal accounts to an authenticator application. A unique One-Time Password (OTP) is required for subsequent logins.
- Verification for Withdrawals: An OTP confirmation is now required for every withdrawal request to verify that fund movements are fully verified and authorized.
- Adjusted Web Sessions: Active web session limits are set to 24 hours to balance operational access with account security.
- Administrative Timeout: Backend administrative accounts will automatically log out after 10 minutes of inactivity to defend internal systems.
Enhancing Account Defense
Using authenticator-backed verification provides high-grade account defense. By making 2FA mandatory, the update ensures that even if primary account passwords are lost or compromised, accounts remain defended by a secondary, time-sensitive verification method.

What you need to do
The setup process is simple and takes only a few steps as shown in image above:
- Log into your ACY Client Portal via ACY.com and click the Login button
2. Enter your login details and when prompted, select your trading account.
3. Click the “Go to Authenticator Verification” button on the pop out notification.
4. You will be redirected to the setup screen. Scan the QR code using your preferred authenticator app and enter the generated OTP and Device Name to secure your account.
